Singapore's Li Jiawei and Sun Beibei was no match against China's Chen Meng and Zhu Yuling, settling for the Bronze medal in the Women's Doubles event. The China duo led Li and Sun 3-0 before the singaporeans fought back to level it at 3-all. However, in the crucial and final seventh game, it was Chen and Zhu that controlled matters. They won 11-7, 11-8, 12-10, 14-16, 6-11, 8-11, 11-7.
On the otherhand, Gao Ning and Li Hu is in the finals of the Men's Doubles event posting a six game victory over Japan's Matsudaira Kenji and Yoshimura Maharu. Gao and Li won 9-11, 14-12, 7-11, 11-8, 11-4, 11-4.
The Singaporean pair will face South Korea's Kim Dong Hyun and Lee Jung Woo.
