Singapore's Li Jiawei and Sun Beibei faltered against World Junior Champions, Li Xiaodan and Wen Jia in the finals of the Women's Doubles event.
The Singaporeans duo took an early lead and captured the first game 11-7. However, from the second game onwards, Li and Sun found the going tough. On many occasions, they were leading. However towards the end, it was Li Xiaodan and Wen Jia proving to be more consistent. The Chinese pair won 11-6, 11-8, 11-8, 11-5.
